      Breaking the silence of Bigfoot
      Jan 12, 2006

When news of Johor Bigfoot broke, the recently established year old Johor Wildlife Protection Society also join in the foray. This has resulted in many people breaking the silence and providing more information to government sources and organisations.

Although no photographs has surfaced out, it doesn’t mean there is no photographs. In a society whereby majority of people does not believe in bigfoot, the photographer will face intense pressure.

Eye witness does not wish to disclose photos

There has been one person who has directly seen Bigfoot eating their dinner. He has followed Bigfoot for 6 years, and understand well about their life. He is afraid after releasing the photos and revealing the
location of the Bigfoot may cause people to hunt for the Bigfoot, and also cause bodily harm to him (the photographer)

Till now, the government does not have any official record of Johor Bigfoot, and does not know of any research done on Johor Bigfoot. So the government cannot implement any Bigfoot protection scheme.

According to many assembled reports, the Johor Bigfoot is composed of 3 colonies that know each other. There is a kind of Jungle Eden which have a fruit garden in the jungle, and all the Bigfoot when moving around will follow a fixed path back to this Jungle Eden.

Johor Endau Rompin and the surrounding forests are the living quarters of this Bigfoot, their movement route is as long as 80 km. There are many stops along this movement route and Kampung Mawai is the last stop on this movement route.

According to descriptions, the Johor Bigfoot is as tall as 12 feet, although some witness say they are as tall as human. There are adult males and females as well as juveniles.

According to one source, an Indonesian at Mersing Road once caught a small Bigfoot and locked it up. However it was later rescued by an adult Bigfoot.

Bigfoot usually appear after the rain. Sometimes they appear at daytime, sometimes at night. They like to eat fish and shell fish. They also like tender buds, and drink unfallen rain water from the leaves.
They like raw food, and also like cooked food, but they don’t like rotten food. They know how to open trap doors to release the fish inside. This shows that they know how to use their hands and has intelligence.

      Living place near water

Bigfoot like to live near the water, because of the easy abundance of food. When a female get pregnant, she will go to the cave to give birth. When the young is born, it must undergo movement training, to test
its body and endurance. If the bigfoot bring out the small bigfoot, it is usually as a form of protective behaviour.

Till now, there has been no known reports of Bigfoot attacking humans. It seem that they are quite friendly with human. There is even the case of the human and Bigfoot looking at each other, and the Bigfoot calmly eating its dinner.

Someone once saw a Bigfoot catch a shell fish from the river, and wash the blood away. This shows that the Bigfoot is ready shifting to a more civilized form from a barbaric form.

The life span of Bigfoot is around 35 – 55 years old. Because of scarity of food, they may also go to place where human live, resulting in more sightings.

Bigfoot has a body full of brown or black hair including the face.. Some have red eyes, strong muscles, long arms up to legs and very agile.

Wei Poh Chin : Johor Bigfoot likes to make friends with human

Wei with Orang Asli eye witness Alan and Along

      Jan 24, 2006

Johor Wildlife Protection Society Wei Poh Chin said his society has contacted a person who claimed to have many encounters with Johor Bigfoot in order to understand more about their behavior.

The contact said in reality, Johor Bigfoot is interested to make friends with humans, and we humans should also be friendly with them!

So Johor Wildlife Protection Society has an internal plan to get the Johor Bigfoot into a Jungle of “Eden”

Wei said that there is an Eden in Endau Rompin Park for the Bigfoot with a fruit garden about 200 acres. It is believed that the Bigfoot find their food easily in this fruit garden. But sometimes they do go out to look for other food outside this jungle Eden.

His society is against any form of catching these bigfoot for research. If these Bigfoot are not protected, they can be wiped out in 30 years.

Because of this, he is against foreigners using anaesthetic guns or advanced sensing machines to hunt for them, as it would cause interference to them.

JWPS prefer the most basic approach, that is be a friend to them !

Feb 6 : Vincent Chow : Bigfoot could be of 2 types

Vincent Chow said that according to his personal opinion, the bigfoot found in Johor could be of 2 types, one large type, height about 10 ft, and one smaller type, height similar to human.
Their hair colour have also black or brown types, perhaps due to different rates of evolution.

He said that there is an opposable big toe on the feet forming a right angle, and when walking, this big toe supports the weight of the body. He has gone to check the footprints found in Panti, and found these footprints has digits, and don’t belong to elephants.

Vincent – the opposable toe form a right angle to the foot pad, and weight of body cause deep footprint depression.

Feb 18 : 40 Bigfoots in state, Dying Bigfoot body may be donated for research

Johore WildLife Protection Society has a member who has lived in the jungle for 6 years and has many encounters with Bigfoot. It is very possible that he has photographs but can’t release more information at this stage.

JWPS also revealed that there is someone who offered 170,000 RM to buy these photos but they ignored the offer. This is because these photos is the property of the society and the country and the society will keep it. However, this also reveal that the price of the information about Bigfoot can probably fetch a high price overseas.

JWPS : Bigfoot info market price has been driven higher

Although JWPS is not a professional organisation, but it will endeavour to protect Bigfoot and get the close co-operation of the government. Many information comes from this society which closely follow Bigfoot movements.

Based on information gathered by JWPS from the movement route of Bigfoot, they know one Bigfoot is dying.

When Bigfoot is dying, the rest of the Bigfoot will wait at a cemetery to bury the Bigfoot there. If people want to bring the body out to do scientific research, perhaps one must find a person that can communicate with Bigfoot.

(fengshui remarks: An earlier report on Jan 8 on Sin Chew said that two Malays have gone fishing on a lake and spent overnight there. When they woke up, the fish they put on the trap was gone and there were traces of it being forced open. There was no mention of any sightings by the Malays. It is frustating that they attribute this to Bigfoot and make statements that they know how to use their hands)

Also interesting is Vincent Chow’s description of opposable big toe. This is not a humanoid feature but a primate feature.

      UPDATE:

      Group seeks sanctuary for Bigfoot
19 Jul 2006 New straits times By R. Sittamparam

JOHOR BARU: A local group that has tracked Johor Bigfoot for the past decade wants the State Government to set up a sanctuary for the creature.

The Johor Wildlife Protection Association, which claims to have photographs of the Johor Hominid, said it had identified a 50ha swathe of jungle where the creatures have been frequently sighted.

Society secretary Philip Tay said a member of the society, a logger who had been frequenting the jungle for more than seven years, had observed Bigfoot up close.

“He has set up an observation perch high up in the trees to view and photograph the creatures. He has also compiled a lot of information about the Hominids.

“He observed that they vary in height from 2.7m to 3.6m and move about in families.”

Tay said there were four clear pictures of an adult male, a female and a juvenile.

He said the society was aware of the demand from all over the world to see the photographs, but stressed that the society planned to publish books on Bigfoot in which the photographs would be featured.

“We are careful about releasing the photographs and information on the location of the Johor Hominid’s habitat as we don’t want any harm to come to these creatures.

“We’re working closely with local researchers and the State Government to ensure that they are protected.”

In the sanctuary, which the society likes to refer to as Happy Garden, a variety of fruit trees and medicinal herbs will be planted. A salt lick will also be set up so the hominids don’t wander out of the area.

Tay said the society had recently led a group of 18 scientists and officers from State Government agencies to the area where the Bigfoot has been spotted.

“Although the expedition did not see any of the creatures, they saw footprints and other evidence.

“We believe a smaller group who can remain in the jungle over a period of time will have better luck. The creatures easily sense outsiders and go into hiding.”
