Recent Bigfoot prints found in Kampung Lukut prompted the creation of this new Section to give a balanced view of what those prints really are.
The alleged Bigfoot prints finds by Mr Vincent Chow and Jan MGirk group can be explained away as either Sunbear Prints, or a combination of bar-cow Prints.
Perhaps a close up of the toe imprints of the alleged Bigfoot print might shed further light.
Josh Gates seen here carrying his Bigfoot print cast. Notice the peculiar shape of the toes. This ‘perculiar-shaped’ toe feature is missing in later photos of the Cast. Do Rhino print looked like this? Compare too with the shape of a boar print.
A closeup look at the alleged Bigfoot print before it was cast by the International Group. The photo taken from the SPI website.
Click here to view the original photo and you will be able to see the distinct ‘toe’ shape, especially the toe furthest left. Placed in comparism is some boar prints I found near the same area.

RM185,000 offered for Bigfoot ‘print’
By MARSHA TAN
JOHOR BARU: A private museum owner in the United States has offered US$50,000 (RM185,000) for the cast of what the Paranormal Seekers Malaysia (Seekers) claims to be Bigfoot’s footprint.
Seekers had auctioned the cast, which was made during an expedition to Kota Tinggi in February last year, in eBay Malaysia with a starting bid of RM100,000.
But there were no takers when the auction ended last Wednesday.
There were, however, interested parties from the United States, which included the private museum owner and a Bigfoot researcher.
Seekers founder Syed Abdullah Al-Attas told The Star the private museum owner offered US$50,000 for the cast while the researcher offered to trade a few of his Bigfoot casts for the one Seekers had.
“We will leave the offer open until the end of the year to see the highest offer.
“If possible, we would like a Malaysian body – be it a foundation or a museum – to buy the cast because this is the only one we have and we hope it can stay here,” he said.
Asked why Seekers wanted to auction off a priceless item, Syed Abdullah said the group had no choice, having exhausted all its funds in its two years of operation.
“We need equipment and material for our paranormal investigations and research but we have no funding nor aid from the Government.
“Therefore, we are forced to put the cast up for sale,” said the 40-year-old Syed Abdullah, who is the chief investigator of the group based in Kuala Lumpur.
Asked why the group had not made more casts during the expedition, he said they did not bring enough material.
He said Seekers, along with three other paranormal investigating groups, found 10 possible Bigfoot footprints.
“However, we only have enough material to make one cast, or else, trust me, we would have made 10 there and then.
“If we successfully find funding for future expeditions, I guarantee that we will go to Kota Tinggi again to continue our research.”
I don’t know at whose hand’s hand the bigfoot cast has been tampered with, but it has been changed from something that looked like a hand to a feet… Looked at the last toe.. originally it was the same size as the rest…
so… any outcome of the sale of the footprint cast? seemed so quiet…
The fiasco of the bigfoot fever died with other more serious world matters happening all over the globe.
But its pretty obvious the cast was so fake. Doesn’t take Veternarian too see that.
I think the minute the news broke about the pictures of shawn ang’s website being fakes, it effectively killed the interest the news generated and the cast is probably somewhere gathering dust.
But knowing the Seekers and their mode of operation, they’ll probably said it has been sold hush hush, declining to name the price it sold at, and letting on that its a huuuge sum.
