Things are moving at the website setup by Vincent Chow and Sean Ang, a so called IT specialist and paleoanthropologist.

Here is a sketch of the face of Johor Hominid nicked as Joman. Some in Cryptomundo is questioning if the sketches are from the stills of the movie by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey – the Dawn of Man sequence. Another is saying it look like Planets of the Apes. The jury is out there.

This is the sketch of the right hand

The above sketch is based on a section of a photograph labeled as JH001: Joman. The photo above shows the right hand of a Male specimen believed to be in its late adulthood. An interesting note about this photo is that the external male organ (phallus, scrotum and the foreskin) can clearly be seen. This is also one of the reason why we believe it is unlikely to be a man-in-a-suit. The other details of the photo will be provided by Vincent Chow in an Online Chat Session to be announced soon.

It is interesting to note that there are altogether 4 pieces of “stone implements”. The other stone implement not available in this sketch is very worn off, which looks like a limestone. But nothing conclusive can be drawn as it is too weathered. As for the 3 stone implements above, I believed these are sedimentary rocks, although there is possibility for Implement 2 to be Igneus also. Stone Implement 1 appears to be clearer, very likely to be quartz or quartzite. I am not sure if the pebble stone (stone implement 1) is broken naturally along the line of weaknesses. If it doesnt but instead flaked by the hominid, then it may be an Elongated Chopper quite similar to the ones from Bukit Jawa Chopper-Chopping tools complex. Stone Implement 2 looks more like some artefacts from Gua Sagu and Gua Tenggek. Whether the flat surface on stone implement 2 is natural remains a question. Stone implement 2 is elongated and pointed, which shows that it is likely to be an artefact. If this photo was taken beside a river, stone implement 1 could be a rejected piece also, as there is a possibility for it to be flaked along the line of weakness. If it is taken in a cave, then the hominid may have made the stone tools else where, and brought them to the cave. If the photo is taken in a cave, stone implement 2 is more likely to be Igneus.

The hand is hairy with some parts exposing the outer skin. An interesting note is the short finger nails in the above image and also in all left fingers of Joman. We still could not figure out why the nails are short. The overall morphology of the hand looks more human compared with Pongo. It is to be noted that most of the finger nails have dark brown stains close to the tip of the finger nails. The male specimen is stocky, with protruding brow ridge, broad chest and have what appears to be a long and hairy beard.

      Update:

Sean ang in a commentary has admitted that there are similarities between Joman and the movie – A Space Oddyssey.

      Quote:

There appears to be similarities between the photo labeled as JH001: Joman, and the above image from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. The similarities are around 60%. For comparison purpose, the similarity between JH001 and Planet of the Apes images, is only 20%.

      Questions:
      a. How many movies out there with the theme on pre-human/human evolutions? Can you list all of them? So that comparison can be made.

      b. In a scenario whereby the photos are hoax, is there is a possibility that some of these close up photos (from Hollywood) can somehow ended up in the hand of communist guerillas?

      c. Are you aware of any images of a nude protohuman from the movie Space Odyssey, showing the image of the male genital (phallus) and also a nude image of a female protohuman, showing the breast from this movie?

      d. Can you find any photos everywhere which match exactly the image of a Hominid reaching out for the stone tools as what has been sketched?

Kindly assist us in our further analysis. Mean time, I will watching several movies for clues. Thanks Le Cope for pointing out the similarities. Thanks again. Sean Ang

        UPDATE

        Vincent Chow clarifies:

I can vouch that none of the photos posted by guests so far match the real ones. Yes, the snapshots were taken with tele lens and only the subject in focus is clear; the back-ground is blurred.
I have never posted any sketch of the hominid before,so I’m puzzled why a comment on’ the sketch changed because the face in the photo also changed’
All this petty accusations that Sean and me are conning everybody , hoping to rake in money with this hoax is surely the unkindest cut of all. Here we are, trying our utmost to persuade the owners of the photos to allow us to reveal the truth to the world, while we have to face and tolerate a barrage of hostilities for being what we are; honest and frank. It has been our passion and interest to share with the world of what we know about this unusual being and we expect positive inputs, ideas and assistance from people whose knowledge and expertise could shed more light on the hominid. Surely our efforts are not pinching pennies from your pockets when we are using our own time, energy and financiaL resources to seek the truth.

Have we ever demanded that you pay before you read ?
