Along the winding road of Old Thomson Road, known also otherwise by its other name…. the Devil’s Bend.. can be found many fencing that ran in sections.

What lies behind these fences?

API recieved an email telling of tombs that lies somewhere inside the vicinity of Old Thomson road area.

After a day’s search, API stumbled upon many rows of giant crypt-like structures.

Immediately the connection is made to the current way of burials in Singapore, using concrete beams and walls to create a crypt to put the coffin in.

The mystery is solved as API found what the crypt actually were used for in the past.

The place was originally a fish farm and the pits/crypt used for hatching./rearing fishing!
