Solved – Mystery of the 2nd Floor Haunting

Investigation

In this case, What we found out was not what anyone expected. This is a classic case of how even the facts can get mixed up, even when it is heard from a 2nd hand source. This shows how a story can be inaccurate, due to the person seeing something and interpreting it according to his or her idea of things. Our Informant who brought us there, heard it from his sister, who is married to the Pub owner. This is what we learned after talking to the Pub owner:

1.  The point about the gate to the 2nd floor not being opened and the new owners had never went before.

Wrong – It has already been used frequently by the Pub personnel who use the upstairs unit as a store room. The aircon condensers are also placed upstairs which means the service technicians go up often too.

2.  The point where 2 fengshui masters upon reaching the metal gate, walks away exclaiming the spirit above was too fierce.

Wrong – The guy who went to look at the fengshui of the Pub wasn't any fengshui master, but rather a Maoist Priest who declared the 2nd floor as possessing a lady ghost. The Maoist Priest was the Pub Owner very good friend since young.

The padlock on the gate was a
brand new lock

We found out that the PUB was located in a pretty old street, with many other units not using their second floor for business or lodging. They were mainly used as store rooms. The previous owner of the PUB too did not use the 2nd floor as a living area but rather to store up his very old stuff. This created a very dark, creepy feeling to anyone entering the 2nd floor. Thus there was no real sighting of the female ghost. It was just believed to be one there.
